Warehouse Associate

Our client is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to join their team in London, Ontario.

This position involves a combination of warehouse and outdoor yard operations, including operating a forklift, moving materials, preparing orders, loading and unloading products, and maintaining organized work areas.

The successful candidate must hold a valid forklift licence/certification and be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year.

This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, physically active, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and yard environment.

• Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and organize materials.

• Pick, prepare, and organize products and materials for orders.

• Load and unload trucks and deliveries as required.

• Move materials between warehouse and outdoor storage areas.

• Verify products, quantities, and orders for accuracy.

• Maintain organized warehouse and outdoor yard areas.

• Perform routine checks of forklift equipment before operation.

• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

• Report damaged products, equipment concerns, or inventory discrepancies.

• Work outdoors in varying weather and temperature conditions.

• Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties as required.

• Valid forklift licence/certification is required.

• Previous forklift operating experience is strongly preferred.

• Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience is an asset.

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to perform physically active work, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling materials throughout the shift.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to communicate effectively and understand workplace and safety instructions.
